Pets are a beloved presence in many households around the world. From dogs and cats, to horses and cows, to chickens and ducks, animals have long been considered faithful companions to humans. Meine Freundin Anna hat einen großen Hund. Der Hund dient treu dem Menschen.
Mir gefällt der Hund meiner Freundin. Er ist sehr klug und gut.
Meine Freundin Laura hat ein Meerschweinchen. Es ist ein kleines, liebes Tier. Meerschweinchen sind leicht zu halten.
Bei guter Pflege können sie über sieben Jahre alt werden. Ich besuche im Sommer oft meine Großeltern.

Ihre Beine arbeiten wie Ruder. Ihre Nahrung findet die Ente im Wasser.
Enten frieren im kalten Wasser nicht. Ihre Federn schützen sie vor dem Frost.
Es gibt aber ganz andere Vögel. Sie wohnen nicht im Freien, sondern zu Hause, in einem Käfig.
Ich träume von einem Papagei schon seit der Kindheit. Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Papageien. Ich möchte einen Nymphensittig haben. Es ist ein liebenswerter Hausgefährte. Er gilt als winterhart, anspruchslos, das erleichtert seine Haltung.
Nymphensittig ist ein guter Gesellschafter. Er stammt aus Australien.
Für einen Nymphensittig muss man einen geräumigen Käfig anschaffen.
Vom ersten Tage an muss man ihn erziehen, das heißt dressieren.
Beim Wort «Käfig» muss der Vogel von allein in den Käfig zurückkehren.
Nur ein dressierter Vogel bringt seinem Besitzer Freude und Spaß, zum Beispiel auch durch die Imitation ausgeübter kurzer Melodien.
Dominierende Farbe des Nymphensittigs ist dunkelbraungrau oder aschgrau.
Das Futter des Vogels ist Hirse, Hafer, Mais, Weizen, Hanf, Sonnenblumenkerne. Dazu muss man noch Grünfutter, Möhre und Apfel dem Vogel geben. Darüber habe ich in einem Buch gelesen.
Ich hoffe, dass ich bald einen Nymphensittig bekomme. Im Allgemeinen möchte ich sagen, dass Haustiere viel Liebe und viel Wissen brauchen. Sonst kann ein Unglück geschehen.
Es gibt Fälle, wo die Menschen, besonders Kinder, ihre Haustiere als Spielzeug behandeln.
Dann können die Tiere zubeißen.

Their legs work like oars. Ducks find their food in the water.
Ducks don’t freeze in cold water. Their feathers protect them from the frost.
But there are other birds. They don’t live outdoors, but at home, in a cage.
I’ve dreamed of a parrot since childhood. There are different types of parrots. I want a cockatiel. It is a lovable house companion. He is considered hardy, undemanding, which makes it easier to keep.
Cockatiel is good company. He is from Australia.
For a cockatiel you need to get a spacious cage.
You have to educate him, that is, train him, from day one.
When you hear the word “cage”, the bird must return to the cage by itself.
Only a trained bird brings joy and fun to its owner, for example by imitating short, practiced melodies.
